- What about the kit price I saw advertised?
- A metal building kit runs about $54 to $75 per square foot, but that is the steel package alone — not the finished home. It does not include the slab, finishes, mechanicals, or labor to erect it. We keep the kit price and the finished-build cost clearly separate.
